The first rain of the year in Port Harcourt, has wrecked havoc to properties worth millions of Naira, a Facebook user has reported. A Facebook user, Christian Mfon Jornsen, who shared some photos on social media, has revealed how the first rain of the year in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, wrecked havoc and destroyed properties worth millions of naira.

Jornsen who shared the photos on his Facebook page and thanked God for sparing his life after the incident, wrote;
Quote
''First rain of the year. Lucky me. I was about passing this route when it showed signs of rain. I decided to wait up a client. Then this. "We are rich enough to run all these lines underground with proper regulations but all Government knows both past and present is to steal funds.
"Youths, we need to arise... I'm not going to ask y'all to pray as usual."
