Fatal sex: Man dies on top of prostitute

Flour Mill Junction, a popular fun spot in Calabar, Cross River State capital, is in a state of confusion, as a man who reported visited one of the brothels in the area has been found dead after having a marathon sex.


The middle-aged man, identified as Mr. Paul Okon Nkanu an a native of Biase Local Government Area of the state, reportedly died on top of the prostitute, after allegedly engaging in an all-night sex with the girl.

At press time, the corpse of the tragic fun seeker was said to have been deposited at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, the state capital, for autopsy and medical examinations.

Although efforts to speak to the affected prostitute, did not yield much result, some of her colleagues (prostitutes) and other residents around the area, including one Miss Inyang, said the lady confided in them that the man allegedly died after the tenth round of sex. He was said to be on the eleventh round when he suddenly slumped and died.

According to information, Mr. Paul reportedly passed on about two hours to sunrise, after keeping vigil, apparently trying to satisfy his segxwal urge. When Daily Sun visited the Flour Mill Junction, it gathered that following the incident, most of the prostitutes in the area, had fled their duty posts due to fear of arrest by security agents.

Quoting the deadly prostitute whose name was being kept under wraps, some of her colleagues in the brothel said Paul had been a regular visitor in the brothel until the fateful night.

Narrating the story to Daily Sun correspondent, Miss Inyang said the affected commercial sex worker allegedly confessed that Paul started the marathon exercise at about 9pm on the fateful night, and kept on till the early hours of the next morning. It was then, the man suddenly ceased to be active. About two hours to sunrise, it was gathered that Paul suddenly collapsed on the prostitute, and became unusually heavy and motionless, confidants of the affected prostitute said.

In an attempt to find out what was amiss, her confidants said the lady decided to push the man away from her chest to the bed, only to discover that his body had become lifeless. Shocked by the situation, the girl decided to raise alarm, calling her fellow prostitutes to come to her aid.

Neighbours, according to reports, were attracted to the room of the late Nkanu’s lover only to meet his lifeless partner lying on the girl’s mattress. Paul who was immediately rushed to hospital for medical examination, was reportedly confirmed dead by doctors on duty at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
