As Nigerian Christians keep asking whether or not it is right to pay tithe to their churches, revered pastor, David Oyedepo, has reacted to the controversy. This is the video showing the moment Bishop David Oyedepo spoke about the importance of paying tithes in church.
The revered Nigerian clergy who is the founder of the Living Faith church aka Winners Chapel, made the statement while speaking at the church’s end of the year programme, Shiloh 2017.
In the video, he can be heard telling his congregation that God will not open the windows of heaven on anyone who does not pay tithe.
According to him, no amount of prayer and faith will work miracles and usher in blessings on anyone if that person is not a tither.

The funniest thing is that most rich Nigerians are not even Christians. If God could bless them, what makes this man think he could bribe God for blessing and grace with money? If this man could give the details of God's account number, and how he has been depositing in the account for Almighty God, he will surely make me a tither. He can rant and quarrel with everybody because of tithing but make no mistake about it, the recent movement against tithing is a revolution that is here to stay until the schematic and dogmatic strategy of stealing from people come to an end.

THERE ARE KEYS BUT EACH KEY OPEN A SPECIFIC DOOR. THE MASTER OF ALL KEY IS OBEDIENT (JERE 1:9).
Tithes, giving to the poor, offering, seed sowing, worship, praise etc are the KEYS and OBEDIENT in doing them gives you access to the BLESSING that follow those that do them.
