Two Nigerians who are residents in India who were reportedly involved in the cult clash that led to the murder of a student identified as Hillary, during an election, on Friday, at Chattarpur, New Delhi, India, have been arrested.
The suspects, identified as Michael Ogbuku and Uche I. Victor, were arrested by the Kurlikot Police near the Kharibari border area, after fleeing Delhi.
Hillary was killed after a clash between Maphite and Black Axe cult groups. Trouble allegedly started during the All India Nigerian Students and Community Association (AINSCA) elections.
According to reports, the Black Axe, to which Hillary belonged, wanted to impose their member as the president of AINSCA, but the Maphites refused. .
A disagreement between the rivals, later resulted in the attack of a Maphite member, who was left unconscious. In retaliation, Maphite members attacked Hilary on his way home and killed him.
