Five Nigerian gays living in a suburb of Lagos State have ignored their HIV status to battle for love.
A local medium reports that 31-years-old Ezeugo had been the eye of the cynosure after bringing another lover to his home, which was currently occupied with his current lover.
The report further revealed that the gays couldn't co-habit together peacefully after the lovers found out Ezeugo was not HIV Positive but was also cheating on them with other occupants of the apartment in which they all lived in.
The Fight Neighbours had to call in men of the Nigerian police to intercede when the gays began fighting as a result of jealous rage.
Ezeugo had reportedly invited another lover to the same apartment he shared with his lover and was about to make love to him when the lover raised the alarm around 3am.
Ezeugo's lover had further protested that he could not be sleeping with him and his tribesman from Calabar, Cross River State.
The lovers were all arrested by the men of the Nigerian police for yet to be ascertained charges but firstly disturbance of the neighbourhood peace.
Ezeugo, the gay in the middle of the controversy, confessed to have been a homosegxwal for about five years after denying claims that he wanted to sleep with the new person.
The police account The Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State command, SP Chike Oti, said the suspects fought after they discovered that they had been infected with HIV.
Oti identified the gays involved as Ezeugo, Akachukwu, Abuchi, Dara and Marvellous, whose ages ranged from 20 to 31.
He said, “They were into gay relationship and a quarrel broke out among them. The security men who listened to their heated argument alerted the police and the Ikotun Divisional Police Officer sent men there to arrest them. One of them confessed to be HIV/AIDS positive and said it was his boyfriend that infected him. The boyfriend was sleeping with the other men as well and that was the cause of their fight.”
