Super Eagles player, John Ogu’s ex-wife, Vera, has also waded into the controversy sparked by Wizkid’s babymama, Shola’s call out post, which was a major topic across social media platforms yesterday.

Taking to her Insta-story to pen down her thoughts on Wizkid’s baby mama, Shola’s post, John Ogu’s ex-wife, shaded her estranged husband. According to Vera, training a child is not really about the money and gifts, but being therethrough and through even without a romantic relationship with the child’s mother.

She wrote;

Quote
“I am glad Shola had the courage to speak up. These “instagram” daddies need to know that it’s not always about the occasional gifts and appearances. It is about being there through and through, whether or not you have a romantic relationship with the child’s mother. If you have capabilities for support, why hesitate? This generation of men need to do better”.

We reported before now that after John Ogu’s marital crisis was made public, the footballer’s ex-wife’s sister called him out on Twitter.

Confirming the speculation, John Ogu’s ex-wife’s sister called him out on Twitter after he took to the platform to wish his daughter a happy birthday.

John Ogu had tweeted;

“On this day last year, I was in Uyo serving my father land on your special day against South Africa. Today is your special day and I still can’t spend this day with you my Baby girl. Daddy is out here working hard to make you proud in Russia. Happy Birthday my love!”

His ex-wife’s sister @iam_meemee who react to the tweet, wrote;

Quote
“But Daddy was in nigeria 2 weeks ago and didn’t see his daughter! Oh I forgot Daddy hasn’t seen his daughter since he kicked her and her mom out from Isreal LAST YEAR. You can do everything John but what you won’t do is pretend like you’re in Ivanna’s life for the gram”.
