The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, amassed a landslide victory at Lagos polling unit 047, Ikeja Ward 3, at Sunday Adigun Street, Alausa Ikeja-Lagos where former Lagos State governor and party chieftain Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu voted.

At the unit, Sanwo-Olu of the APC recorded 167 votes while his closest rival, Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party, managed just 11 votes.

There were earlier concerns at the polling unit as INEC officials arrived to the venue late.

Upon arrival, the APC chieftain voted at the unit at about 11.56am.

While commending the peaceful conduct of the elections, Tinubu however called on INEC to extend the voting time in areas where materials arrived late.

In the same vain, the Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode delivered his polling unit for the APC governorship candidate in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Sanwo-Olu dusted other candidates at the unit with a landslide at Polling Unit 033, Ward A5, at Ogunmodede Junior and Senior College in Papa Epe with 262 votes with Peoples Democratic Party’s Jimi Agbaje who polled 62 votes.
