Ya right...We'll neva know de truth by guessing, it could very well be a coincidence that these blacks were fired... coz they are not the only blacks in CNN and they are definitely not the first to get fired, some whites must also have been fired... But come oh, how can U guys even still be talking about RACISM, when our very own BARAK OBAMA is vying for president, and he has a huge number of whites ready and willing to vote for him? his Vice is even a white guy and he beat a white person to get to where he is, Ah guys please forget about racism, not anymore in America... CHEERS ...

First Post here, among many to come. I think the use of racism to describe Femi's victimization might be both fair and unfair. One thing is we are not sure what circumstances led to her sack, then we might want to debacle on why She got another instant appointment in Abuja, seem like there are great legs tho. Well, baring my mind, i dont believe there really exists anything like racism, simply because you cannot devalue somebody thats got more potentials than yourself. That means, you can only attack the physical but not the mind. Unless the attackee endears his or her mind on the physical and material, then the mind becomes vulnerable. the person in question is doing great now, someone Tell her to do something more for the immediate community she is in or I'll start the use of my canes...Talk to y'all soon
I want to be remembered for making others happy, touching lives for positivity and making the headlines for being JUST Me

I don't think RACISM can ever end
but i think the racism down here in UK is worst than tht of US.sumtimes u just wonder if this ppl hv got heart.
Elaborate Onyin. I have always wondered if blacks in the UK even experience racism. I know it can be a classist society, but I didn't think the UK was as racist as the US. Why do you say it's worse?

Na Wa Oh... Amerika make Una Take Una Tym for 9gerians bodi oh... My pipo, No Place Lyk Home! Thank God that she was given a very good job here in her own country, at least the Salary is very very comparable to what she earns in the USA working for CNN.
I don't know if it was based on racism. Lots of the reporters on CNN are black. If they are going to downsize in Atlanta, a city which is undergoing a very stressful economic time right now, then a lot of Black reporters will get hit in the process. I think Femi Oke will be better off in Abuja (if he was in fact offered a position there)... he will make a bigger name for himself and probably wouldn't be stuck as simply a weather reporter for very long.
