d truth of d matter is dat there are lots of good rappers in 9ja. 4rm rugged 2 mode,free,terry and ikechukwu.but my choice of best rapper will go 2 dat mc who's gat d flows, good lyrics, som1 who's gat d swaggers and dat understands music. most rappers in 9ja can rap freely but most dont understand music, all they understand is rap. or how would u explain a rapper whose chorus is not diff.. 4rm d verse in terms of rhythm all in d name of keepin it real...... let some1 tell mode 9 dat he's a gud rapper but he doesnt understand music. his rhythm doesnt appeal 2 so many individuals.afterall we listen 2 rap sounds 4rm yankee and a man on d street can still feel da swagger e.g candy shop,ridin,in da club etc...... In short my choice is Ikechukwu but hey dats AFTER MOI......

Well .........Dudes out there 9ja have a lot of rapper that need to be apprecaited and given kudos like of mode9 , Ikechuwku , etc but one thing we must know is that this is 9ja and we have to do it right i our own way and in our own way we have to use how own language, art , beats and stuffs that is why i give all the respect to that one guy that bring good rap other than the wack we have be4 ...........Ruggedy Baba i respect

Without doubt we all know Nigerian rappers are now developing beyond imagination. But i am yet to decide who is better between Mode9 eLDee and Ruggedman. So what is it gonna be?
