There have been wide jubilation as founder of sahara report, and leader of revolution now, Omoyele Sowore finally got his freedom from the den of DSS.

Recall, On August 3, 2019 Sowore was arrested by the Nigerian Department of Security Services (DSS) for alleged treason after calling for a protest tagged RevolutionNow.

On September 24, 2019, Sowore was granted bail by the Federal High Court Abuja, on the condition that he surrender his international passport within forty-eight hours. The DSS has refused to release Sowore claiming ignorance of the court order.

Marshall Abubakar, one of the lawyers of Sowore, confirmed the development.

“He has been released. I am with him as we speak,” he said over the phone.
