A father that knows his authority in the house, should be the one to give the name,
cos he is the house leader, why allowing someone to take his position in giving the name?

What the pikin na  'omo ale'

who go name am

What a senseless post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well where i come from in Igboland after a child is born the mother will first give the child a name either normal Igbo name or english name, which we consider as ordinary name then after a month the father will then give the baby a native name eg my mum gave me Ndubuisi and that's what every body calls me and my dad gave Ojo as my native name.
is ur Father Igbo? cuz Ojo is not common for Igbo?
No insult eh !

yes he is and it's only in Abia state dat you will hear that name Ojo in Igboland and also names like Kalu and Ogbonna,
