1.) It's Twenty-freaking-ten, we know more now about the female anatomy than they did way back then, hence it should follow that our mindset, and how we consider the female body should change, apparently not. The fact that this operation even exists speaks to the mindset of society in certain matters.
2.) It's deception and that's no way to establish a relationship, if your husband believes you're a virgin and he someday discovers you're not . . . that shakes the very foundation your relationship is built upon.
3.) Being a virgin doesn't mean you're chaste or that you believe in fidelity anymore than owning a Bible means you believe in it.
4.) It's a waste of time and resources seeing that the new hymen's going to be destroyed anyway.
I could go on and on, but the point is, that's just stupid =D
it is more than anatomy 1) relationship/ love remains 90% illusions in ones head- one way or the other 2) what we believe to be true is very important in shaping who we make of ourselves and even our aspirations 3) proof of willingness /ability to bond readily to all things pertaining to a guy 4) a promise or deepest commitment to the fact u would not compare a guy to some other guy- implicitly and especially explicitly. etc there are better ways a lady can highlight the above but she has to be creative and given audience, the easiest way is actually proof of virginity. it is only Humans in all animal kingdom that is given the virginity thing- the creator understood, and must have His reasons . | Posted: at 3-08-2010 06:56 PM (14 years ago) | Newbie | |

Some countries have made hymen reconstruction operations illegal. Dr Magdy Hend, consultant gynaecologist at the Regency Clinic, Harley Street, London, who started hymen reconstruction more than 18 years ago in the Middle East and the Gulf, said: "In some cultures they like to see that the women will bleed on the wedding night. If the wife or bride is not a virgin, it is a big shame on the family." Dr Hend said he was surprised by the "very good response" to the service and said there is "big competition on the market". Most of his clients, he told More4 News, are in their teens or early 20s. "They might be British of ethnic background, they might be immigrants, or some people come from abroad, Asia, Middle East, the Gulf, and they don't want to have it done back home," he added. what are these arab people up to.by the way na who go do the operation male or female doc.dis one pass me ooooo  from donuche they are always up to hypocrisy and deception. man can not see their women s ordinary face but when they lost their virginity they will get visa, buy flight ticket and travel to another country where nobody will see them or know about it to do NHS operation to deceive the bride and everybody all in the name of religion that its foundation is built on hypocrisy,fear and deception. the most stupid and hypocritical aspect of the whole thing is that the same men that are forbidding from seeing just the ordinary face of this women are still the same doctors that perform this operation or surgery on them there by seeing the whole nakedness of the women and as well patching,panel beating and sewing the virgina .
