father:can we say because a man is the head of the fmily and he is the one that do most of the things that he is the one that the children will love most and respect because he produce their need or the fear 4 him can bring much respect 4 him than the one they have 4 their mother.                                                      mother:some say mother's are the true part of there childern because they are close to them but i say mothers are the solid pillers behind there childerns success

The prophet of Islam teaches us to show love and respect to our mothers three times before our fathers. But the mother should in turn show love and absolute respect to her husband. I see in this the perfect answer to this question from the most perfect of mankind

Most children either fear their Dad  or their Mom more, fear is not respect. 2 be sincere children are suppose to respect both parents equally without fear in them
