@Harunshehu. I cnt judge o, but i belive ther is 1 true God & ther is only 1 true way to worship. 4 we xtians, we blive d knoledge in d bible & Jesus is d only true way. God dd nt provide alternative ways of worshp. We cn chose 2 worshp eida d way God hs establishd or d way convinient 4 us as many pple do 2day. Let me give an example, even amng d xtian group, som group use signs & symbols 2 pray y odas say its wrong but both group claim 2 b xtian. D 2 ways cnt b rite so definitly 1 group is wrong & dey stil claim dey serve d same God. ..

@Jaykay, for We muslims we believe that Islam is the religion which was given to Adam, the first man and the first prophet of Allah(God), and it was the religion of all the prophets sent by Allah to mankind. The name of God's religion lslam was not decided upon by later generations of man. It was chosen by Allah(God) Himself and clearly mentioned in His final revelation to man. In the final book of divine revelation, the Qur'aan, Allah states the following:

"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion". (Soorah Al-Maa'idah 5:3)

"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah (God) never will It be accepted of Him" (Soorah Aal'imraan 3:85)

"Abraham was not a Jew nor Christian; but an upright Muslim." (Soorah Aal'imraan 3:67)

Since the total submission of one's will to Allah represents the essence of worship, the basic message of Allah's divine religion, Islam is the worship of Allah alone and the avoidance of worship directed to any person, place or thing other than Allah.Since everything other than Allah, the Creator of all things, is Allah's creation; it may be said that Islam, in essence calls man away from the worship of creation and invites him to worship only its Creator. He is the only one deserving man's worship as it is only by His will that prayers are answered. If man prays to a tree and his prayers are answered, it was not the tree which answered his prayers but Allah who allowed the circumstances prayed for to take place. One might say, "That is obvious," however, to tree-worshippers it might not be. Similarly, prayers to Jesus, Buddha, or Krishna, to Saint Christopher, or Saint Jude or even to Muhammad, are not answered by them but are answered by Allah. Jesus did nottell his followers to worship him but to worship Allah. As the Qur'aan states:

"And behold Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary Did you say to men, Worship me and my mother as gods besides Allah He will say-"Glory to you I could never say what I had no right (to say')" (Soorah Al-Maa'idah- 5:116)

Nor did he worship himself when he worshipped but rather he worshipped Allah. This basic principle is enshrined in the opening chapter of the Qur'aan, known asSoorah Al-Faatihah, verse 4:

"You alone do we worship and from you alone do we seek help".

Elsewhere, in the final book of revelation, the Qur'aan, Allah also said:

"And your Lord says:"Call on Me and I will answer your(prayer)."(Soorsh Mu'min 40:60)

Be at peace for my message is not that of looking for contradictions but of mutual understaning, to you is your religion and to me be mine.

PEACE........... Smiley

I honestly think that it is an abysmal lack of intellectual multiculturalism for anyone of any religion to think halal meat are sacrificed to other gods. I am a Nigerian, a Christian and live in UK and I know that Halal meat is type of Asian seasoned meat (just like suya) sold accross europe. For example what you call isie-ewu in the eastern part of Nigeria otherwise known as pepper soup is in UK called goat curry. However some African restaurants still brand it as Isi-ewu does it now mean to a person from a different cultural background that isi-ewu or or commonly known suya is sacrificed to idols? Please come of it guys

Its obvious that you are shallow minded and myopic. Your lack of knowledge has pinned you your terrible state of confusion. You are confusionist, I have seen loads of your type before who out of ignorance hold on fanatically to a very very bleak understanding of issues.

Halal meat is meat that has been processed through the Islamic religious belief. The way the animal is killed as well as the enchanting of Allah on the animal.

Muslims or Islamist are not allowed to eat any meat that is not Hala, and they dont. But christians eat Halal meat, and I'll like to understand why............
