Please SAVE Muh’d Sani from Ugandan authorities.
He’s a Nigerian student from Kano. He’s being held for the past three weeks in a Ugandan isolation center even though he’s negative. His repeated pleas to be released have been ignored
Muh’d was first stopped by Ugandan immigration officers on his way to Kenya to board Kenyan Airways to Nigeria. When he couldn’t meet the officers’ demand to pay 3m shillings (N300k) as bribe, they detained him. They then took him to a Covid-19 hospital where he tested negative.
The hospital discharged him since 20/04/2020, but the immigration officers refused to collect him from the hospital and doctors won’t let him leave. Muh’d is hale and hearty. He’s being maltreated because he isn’t Ugandan; because he’s Nigerian. PLEASE SAVE HIM.
