Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fami-Kayode, says the idea that Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, should not run for the presidency is “absurd.”
Kogi State Governor has declared interest to run for Presidency under The All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2023 general election.
In a tweet posted on his page today, Sunday, April 11, FFK said it is absurd for some Nigerians to kick against the North Central producing the next Nigerian President.
According to FFK, Nigeria needs strong and decisive leadership and a generational change.
He tweeted;
”The idea that Gov. Yahaya Bello should not run for the Presidency & that the NC zone, which has never produced a democratically-elected President,ought to settle for another position is absurd. Nigeria needs strong & decisive leadership, a generational change & a bridge-builder.”
