The founder of Naija Flying Doctors, Dr Ola Brown, took to Twitter to reveal that a woman rejected a job offer because her husband said it will be bad for their marriage if she has a masters before him.

Dr Brown said she offered the woman a job but included in her offer letter that she must get an MBA while working with her company.

She said the woman later got back to her to say she wouldn't be taking the job because her husband said it would be bad for their marriage if she gets her MBA before him.




Other Nigerians who had the same experience with the wife shared their story and those who stand with the husband also gave reasons.

My bro in law divorced my sister cuz our dad gave her his shops to manage so that he can rest cuz age is catching up with him. He claimed she would eventually be too proud for him to handle. Nonsense!
