Policemen from the Onikan Police Command in Lagos have arrested a fake evangelist simply identified as Mike who along with two of his accomplices attempted to dupe a woman of N300,000. According to P.M.NEWS investigation, the three suspects posed as evangelists from the Republic of Benin and met their victim at IBM Bus Stop, near the Bar Beach on Victory Island, Lagos. It was learnt that the suspects approached the woman to assist them locate a street after claiming that they were evangelists who came to one St. Leo Cathedral on Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos for a crusade. Sources said the three fake evangelists told the woman from the Eastern part of Nigeria that she had no problem but she would bear three female children and no male child. They tricked her to pay them N300,000 for a prayer to bring her an all round success. The victim, it was learnt, rode with them in their Toyota Camry car marked AS 05 BWR to a first generation bank in Keffi Street, Off Awolowo Way, Ikoyi, Lagos. Luck ran out on them when the woman disclosed her plan to withdraw N300,000 for the fraudsters to a cashier in the bank. The cashier, investigations revealed, raised an alarm telling the woman that she was about to be duped. P.M.NEWS further learnt that as people moved towards the trio, two of them ran away. But their supposed leader inside the car was blocked by a police patrol team. The police arrested Mike while his accomplices escaped. Mike was later detained at the Onikan Police Command and transferred to the Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikeja.

Can anybody be so gullible? That woman not normal. Why don't she pray for her own self, it's free. God said he is no respector of persons, so everybody has same access and opportunity with Him as the next.

This guys use diabolical means somethings and once they speak to you and you respond,your charmed. Lets not balame the woman as everyone can be a mugu sometime in your life time.
