Former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo has once again paid visit to Rivers State governor, Wike in order for Peter Ob to emerge president after 2023 election.
During his visit, former president says Nigeria may not survive if presidency eludes Southeast

Obasanjo seems to love Nigeria now that he's an ordinary citizen and can do very little more than when he was the head of state and could really make a difference. Also then, there was no PVC or card reader, it was era of mass and easy rigging, so he could have easily chose a South easterner to succeed him and even rig the election for him even if the north was not in support, but no, he chose a northerner, and even chose a South southerner as the deputy. If anybody truly believes it is too much love this man has for the east now or it is too much love he has for Nigeria that he's just showing "concern", then I'll just laugh because y'all don't know this man.

You seem to know him better than all of us, so it would have been fair for you to go straight to the point and tell us what he is really up to. Giving back power to the North after his tenure was the right and logical thing to do as at then. But if you want to fault him in his choice of the running mate as at then, then I may see reasons with you, though the EBELE in Jonathan's name caused some confusion that didn't clear until he became President. To me, OBJ is still doing the right thing, at least, to right his wrongs before meeting his maker.

Trust me, Obasanjo knew very clearly where GEJ was from, he wasn't in doubt at all. That's in the past now though. Regards righting his wrongs, if that's the case, don't you think he would have started by returning to the nation the farm he took from her?? Have you been to Otta farm?? It's a national establishment!

OBJ only hand picked GEJ as deputy in 2007 just to compensate the Bayelsa people of the Odi massacre during his administration . He knew well that GEJ was a full Ijaw man and the Ebele in the name did nothing.
