Young men planning to settle down might learn a thing or two from veteran actor, Kenneth Okonkwo, who has highlighted qualities that a good wife should possess.
In a post to millions of his Facebook followers on Friday, the actor and politician said that a wife is not a woman “for the moment” but a “life partner”.
He said that confusing these two is the root of unhappiness for many married men.
He said, “A wife is a woman who is troubled by the things that troubles you; who considers you in all of her dealings; who puts you first; who respects you; who honours you; who celebrates you; who comforts you; who submits to you; who apologizes for her wrongs; who is not happy going a day without talking to you; who is at peace with herself; who constantly looks for ways to be a better woman for you; who shares in your vision; who’s committed to building with you; who supports you; who pampers you; who’s emotionally sensitive and intelligent.”
Okonkwo added, “There are women for the moment and there is a woman who will be your life partner.
“If you confuse these two women, you will marry wrong and you will never be happy.”
