'Happy Hour Governor'! PDP’s Umo Eno Declared Winner of Akwa Ibom State Governorship Election

The Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has been declared winner of the state governorship election.

According to results collated by INEC, Eno polled a total of 356,348 votes to defeat Bassey Albert of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), who came second with 136,262 votes. Akan Udofia of the All Progressives Congress came third with 129,602 votes.

Recall that the pastor while campaigning, promised to introduce what he calls a 'happy hour' every Friday where alcohol will be subsidized.

A lot of Akwa Ibom resident will be looking forward to the fulfilment of this promise amongs many other promises by the Governor-elect.
