You Are Disgraceful - Simi Slams Tribal Bigots

Popular songstress Simisola Kosoko aka Simi has slammed tribalists and ethnic bigots following the just concluded governorship and House of Assembly elections. Recall that many Igbos were threatened and some refused to vote by Yorubas in Lagos who asked them to return to their states. The singer, who blamed politicians for the sudden rise of tribalism, condemned people who let themselves be used as tools to perpetuate acts that stem from ‘beliefs’ sold to them.

 
Simi informed tribal bigots that their services to their masters who care less about them would do nothing to improve their impoverishment or shamelessness. She noted they’d realise after the elections that they were only being used.
 
“And all these for politicians that don’t give af about you or your family. Them just dey use you. “When this election has passed, it’ll be you, the poverty you’re dying to maintain and your newfound lack of shame. They still won’t care about YOU. Tribalism is disgraceful,” the ‘Logba Logba’ crooner tweeted.
