Fifty-year-old Augustine Gola Ejowo was apprehended by the Police operative of Ovwian/Aladja Division in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State for the alleged murder of his forty-five-year-old girlfriend, Felicia Catibekpe.
CP Wale Abass, the State Commissioner of Police (CP), confirmed the arrest at a press briefing held in Asaba on Wednesday.
According to the CP, the suspect was arrested on 21/6/2023 when he reported himself at the Police Station.
According to CP Abass, “The suspect stated that he murdered the woman during the course of a disagreement using a machete.”
