CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, has stated that one cannot be arrested for tinting their hair because it is not a crime. He said this while responding to a Twitter user who disclosed that he was slapped by a policeman over his tinted hair. Adejobi said though it is not a crime to tint one's hair, however, it looks ‘’strange to our culture'' as Africans. He also told the barber that he can decide to file a complaint against the officer who slapped him for tinting his hair.
