Famous Nigerian Singer, Davido Bows To Pressure, Deletes ‘Offensive’ Music Video

Famous Afrobeats singer, Davido has deleted the much controversial music video of his signee, Logos Olori, after facing intense backlash online.

Davido came under extensive and heavy backlash after he posted a snippet video of his signee’s song ‘Jaye Lo’ which was shot outside a mosque and depicted Muslims observing their Salah prayers.
This had caused many to seethe with displeasure and they wasted no time in calling out the singer over what they considered to be grave disrespect to their religion.
Notable Nigerian celebrities such as Ahmad Bashir, Ali Nuhu have been particularly vocal about this.

While the singer had been relatively silent on the matter and made no formal apology, two days after coming under fire, Davido has finally bowed to pressure and has deleted the video.

@davido shouldn't have tolerated that kind of video idea from his signee in the first place and would have avoided all the drama, but that religion gives too much importance to irrelevant things and seem to enjoy the evils that their brothers unleash.
