Mrs Ebele Okoye, President of Catholic Women Organization Abuja Archdiocese (CWOAA), stated that the event was organised to celebrate and give awards to distinguished catholics who have played exceptional role in their various field.
"Catholic Women Organisation Abuja Archdiocese Day is celebrated yearly, and we have so many achievers here in Abuja. So the CWO considered it appropriate to recognise and celebrate the achievements of these great personalities on this special day,” she said.

The well deserved award received several commendations from high profile personalities that attended the event, she was accompanied by Chief Kenneth Ifekudu's lovely wife, Lolo Chioma Ifekudu and this honour is coming some weeks after High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu bagged the highest National Honour in Nigeria, OFR.
Imo State Firstlady, Her Excellency Barr. Chioma Uzodimma, Rev. FR. Francis Kale, Engr. Amaka Uyanne, Sir Dr. George Oligbo and several others received same awards.
