Brentford
Having scored in the 3-1 win in May, Bryan Mbeumo has been declared fit to face Spurs again in Brentford's Premier League opener and will start up front.
The Cameroon international has recovered from a dead leg in time for the big kickoff, while captain Christian Norgaard has also overcome an injury. Frank Onyeka is expected to feature, too, but faces a final fitness check before Sunday's game.
In Ivan Toney's absence, Mbeumo should start on the right of a front trio for the hosts, with Kevin Schade - who made his loan deal permanent this summer - on the left and Yoane Wissa in the centre.
Brentford possible starting lineup:
Flekken; Hickey, Pinnock, Mee, Henry; Jensen, Janelt, Damsgaard; Mbeumo, Wissa, Schade
Tottenham
Meanwhile, Richarlison is available to lead the Spurs line this weekend, after brushing off rumours of a serious injury sustained in training. Therefore, the visitors' front four should comprise James Maddison, Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski and the ex-Everton forward.
Recent signing Micky Van de Ven is short of match fitness due to a disrupted pre-season while at Wolfsburg, so Tottenham's centre-back pairing should be Ben Davies and Cristian Romero, with Guglielmo Vicario making his Premier League debut in goal and fellow Italian Destiny Udogie in contention for the left-back spot.
Long-term absentee Rodrigo Bentancur (ACL) joins Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Spanish winger Bryan Gil (groin) on the sidelines due to injury.
Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Davies, Udogie; Bissouma, Hojbjerg; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Richarlison
Prediction: Brentford 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur
