This big change follows the passing of his father, Taiwo Odukoya, who was the founder of the renowned church.

Back in 2005, the Odukoya family suffered a tremendous loss when Abimbola Rosemary “Bimbo” Odukoya, Jimmy’s mother and a beloved pastor and televangelist, lost her life tragically in the Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 crash.
This devastating incident shook not only the Odukoya family but also the entire congregation of the Fountain of Life Church.
Jimmy Odukoya has demonstrated his dedication to his faith and family over the years, just as his parents did. Despite the personal loss and challenges they have endured, the Odukoya family remained very committed an dedicated to their religious community.
Aside from his pastoral responsibilities, Jimmy Odukoya is also loving husband and devoted father. He got married to a beautiful woman whose name js Kemi Odukoya, and together, they are raising their precious daughter.
In 2018, Kemi Odukoya expressed her admiration and gratitude for her husband’s part in the parenting process of their child. She shared a heartwarming moment when Jimmy took on daddy duties, carrying their daughter on his back while she enjoyed a girls’ trip with a friend.
