FCT Police Command Take Seven Notorious Kidnappers Into Custody, Recovers N9M Ransom

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested seven notorious kidnappers and recovered N9 million in ransom from them.

Parading the kidnappers on Wednesday, the FCT Police Commissioner, Benneth Igweh, mentioned that the wanted kidnappers were arrested by operatives of the Utako police division led by CSP Victor Godfrey in a coordinated operation at Tudun-Wada Lugbe and Pyakasa area of Trademore.

Igweh identified the kidnappers as Usman Muazu from Kwali, FCT; Aliyu Mohammed from Pumpomare area of Borno State; Awwal Dahiru from Gwagwalada area council of the FCT; Rabi Sani from Safana, Katsina State; and Madina Abubakar from Gulu, Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State

Others are Jonah Elimelech from Kauru, Kaduna State; Saminu Idris, also from Kauru; and Mariji Iliya from Mangu, Plateau State.

He added that among the items recovered from the suspects were knives, cutlasses, bulletproof vests, and charms.

“And we speak, the suspects who have been profiled are in custody undergoing interrogation at respective division, while those found wanting will be charge to court,” he said.

Kanyi Daiy recalls that the Nigeria Police Force’s Intelligence Response Team had eliminated notorious kidnappers and gun runners who were terrorizing Abuja, Kaduna, Kogi, and Nasarawa states

We said  it when one Chinaza , a small thief was being paraded as the kidnapping king pin terrorizing  Abuja and it's environ that the actual people had not been apprehended. We maintained that the kidnappers MUST be of northern extraction. Have we not been vindicated? Investigate deeper they are graduates of Buhari's school of rehabilitation for northern terrorists. That it will take a fearless non Hausa Security officials to catch these evil men from North. Trust Igboman. The FCT police commissioner. Please don't stop there, extend your operation to other parts of the North before their elders start coming out to accuse you of arresting only Hausa people.
