Landmark is trending because Paul Onwuanibe, the CEO of the beach & resorts have pleaded with LASG to re route only 1.5km of the 700km coastal highway which is currently underway so that the $200M landmark resort won’t be destroyed.

The landmark ecosystem has over 80 businesses operating there and welcomed about 3m visitors, many are tourist and the diaspora.

Landmark directly employs 4000 Nigerians and 12,000 indirectly.

Onwuanibe said he had obtained the land in 2007 before the plans for the coastal highway were drawn up.

He has been given 7days to evacuate the multi-billion dollar beach resort.

When you hear about the destructions, its only Igbo names that you hear. Is it that this is actually targeted? Or that Yoruba's dont actually have properties in their own land?
