During the monthly Holy Ghost service themed "Shielded by Fire" at The Redemption City of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), humbly described himself as weak, but upheld the strength of his faith in God.

Addressing congregants, Pastor Adeboye cautioned against criticism and mockery directed towards him, emphasizing that while he may be fallible, his God is omnipotent.

Acknowledging his own frailty, Adeboye referenced the apostle Paul's humility, stating, "If Paul, who wrote more than half of the New Testament, claimed to be less than the least of the saints... Adeboye is nothing."

However, he stressed the supremacy of God's power, highlighting the insignificance of his own human limitations in comparison to the divine might. "Adeboye is weak... But his God is stronger than the strongest," he proclaimed.

Asserting the principle of divine exaltation through human humility, Adeboye declared, "Anyone that God will use must be weak, foolish, and a nobody, so that only God will take the glory."

In conclusion, while acknowledging the inevitability of criticism and mockery, Pastor Adeboye urged respect for the sanctity of faith, reminding believers that while he himself may be subject to ridicule, the reverence owed to his God remains inviolable.
