Billy Ray Cyrus has filed for divorce from his wife, Firerose, just seven months after their wedding.
He is seeking an annulment, alleging that the marriage was obtained by fraud. TMZ reports that Billy has given Firerose until May 24 to vacate their house, and he is covering $500 per night for temporary housing over a ten-day period.
Additionally, he has offered to pay Firerose $5,000 per month for her to secure suitable housing in Tennessee for 90 days or until the divorce is finalized, whichever comes first.
According to the court documents, the date of separation is listed as May 22, 2024, with irreconcilable differences and "inappropriate marital conduct" cited as reasons for the divorce.
This will be Billy Ray's third divorce; he was previously married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 and to Tish Cyrus, with whom he has three children, for three decades before they divorced in April 2022.
Billy Ray and Firerose got engaged in August 2022, having first met on the set of "Hannah Montana." They also collaborated on music in 2021 and were married in October 2023.
