Suspected Killer Of UNIBEN Graduate, Glory Adekolure Arrested In Delta State

Police in Edo State have arrested the suspected killer of Glory Adekolure, a graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN).

Adekolure had gone to UNIBEN to submit her project on June 13, 2024, but her body was discovered under a tree in the Iyowa Community of Benin City.

Fifteen days after her death, the Edo State Police Command announced the suspect's arrest in Delta State.

Edo State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, confirmed to Channels Television on Friday that the suspect was apprehended in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

The suspect has yet to be paraded, as the investigation into the incident is ongoing. According to CP Adegboye, the suspect has confessed to the murder of at least seven other young women.

Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
