Peter Obi recently recounted the tragic events leading to the death of Onyeka Onwenu.
According to Obi, the legendary singer performed at an event where he was present. Shortly after finishing her performance, she took a sip of water and then suddenly collapsed.
She was immediately rushed to the hospital, accompanied by several dignitaries, including Peter Obi himself.
Despite the medical team's tireless efforts to revive her, they were unable to save her, and she passed away after more than two hours of struggle.
