Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has released a video urging Nigerians to stop protesting.
VeryDarkMan shared this message on his verified Instagram account, noting that the protests have been taken over by hoodlums and that tensions are especially high in the northern regions.
In the video, he mentioned that the actions of protesters in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, and Jos, who are burning the Nigerian flag while displaying the Russian flag, are unusual. He suggested that these protests are being funded by certain politicians.
VeryDarkMan expressed that well-meaning Nigerians are working for a better Nigeria, unlike the hoodlums, who he claimed want Russian intervention and are advocating for a military regime.
He also showed his disappointment with young people in northern states who are focused on destroying and stealing essential services in their areas.
