Is very unfortunate what is happening right now in libya.Col Gadaffi has done such much for the country. All these developments recorded in libya   were achieved under Gadaffi's rule.Libya has one of the best health care system in the entire North Africa.Am not in support of any type of tenure elongation since libya is not a kingdom.i hope Libyans are not been used by the so called... They should not betray their leader. If we in Nigeria can have atleast Quarter of their development we will be grateful & even called such a leader to be LIFE PRESIDENT.

I think u are not aware of what is happening. U mean therefore, that he should kill his people with warplanes and fighter jets because they have the best health care. Anyway, Nigeria doesn't want a leader like Gaddafi. I don't want someone to give me food and shut my mouth.  Brazil last president lifted over 20 million of its people from poverty, yet he stepped down. If u lead people, u have to listen to them. If he has to be a life president, he has to go now and rule his own family by dictating to them.

POSTER , ONE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW IS THAT GADAFFI ONLY SUCCEEDED IN BUILDING COMMUNITY OF SLAVES AND NOT A NATION IN AFRICA,
WHERE IS THE POSITION OF LYBIA IN TERMS OF THE AFRICA ECONOMIES?
WHERE AGAIN IS THEIR POSITION IN TERMS OF FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION?
WHERE ARE THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN IN LYBIA?
IS MOVEMENT AND ASSOCIATION NOT RESTRICTED IN LYBIA?
A CONDITION IN WHICH YOU MUST NOT SHAKE HANDS WITH AN OPPOSITE SEX OR EVEN DARE A HUG?
ARE HUMAN RIGHTS RESPECTED IN LYBIA?
WHERE IS THE FREEDOM OF WORSHIP?
THESE FEATURES ABOVE HAS SO FAR RESULTED TO TIMID CITIZENS WHO CAN NOT HOLD THEIR OWN IN ANY INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION, EG WHEREAS SOUTH AFRICA CAN BOAST OF SOME CAPITALISTS OR INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS AND COMPANIES, SAME WITH EGYPT, KENYA, NIGERIA ETC BUT NONE OF THESE CAN BE SAID OF LYBIA WHOSE NATIONALS ARE NOT KNOWN EXCEPT YOUR GADAFFI

ACCORDING TO WORLD BANK REPORT OF 2010, IN RATING NATIONS OF AFRICA BY GNDP ie GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT, LYBIA IS FAR BEHIND TUNISIA, MORROCO, ANGOLA, SUDAN, ALGERIA AND NIGERIA! WHEREAS, THE POSITION OF LYBIA WAS 69 IN THE CLASSIFICATION, SUDAN WAS 68, TUNISIA 67, ANGOLA 63, MORROCO 56, ALGERIA 46 WHILE NIGERIA IS 31! SOUTH AFRICA IS FIRST FOLLOWED BY EGYPT AND THEN NIGERIA
TO CONFIRM THIS, GO TO THE FOLLOWING WEB SITE
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)

NIGERIA IS FAR MORE CIVILISED AND WELL READ THAN YOUR LYBIA. IMAGINE AN INDIVIDUAL IN OFFICE FOR ABOUT 42YRS FORMING A DICTATOR WHO RULES WITH SOME SELFISH LAWS IN THE GUISE OF DECREES!
DO YOU CALL AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CAMMAND THE BOMBING OF HIS PEOPLE A LEADER?
DIDN'T YOU SEE HOW MUBARAK STEPPED DOWN DID HE HAVE TO GIVE WAR COMMAND TO THE EGYPTIAN MILITARY? OR DIDN'T YOU SEE WHERE THE NAVAL OFFICERS WHERE SUPPLYING THE PROTESTERS FOOD WITH MUBARAK STILL IN THE OFFICE?
I AM SURE U MEANT U.S IN YOUR FIRST POST! BUT YOU WILL AGREE WITH ME THAT A BLIND MAN WHO PERCEIVES TOO MUCH SAND IN HIS MEAL DOES NOT NEED TO BE TOLD B4 HE KNOWS HE HAS TO REJECT THE FOOD OR BETTER STILL CRY OUT!!!!
