Nigerian socialite and crossdresser Bobrisky has reportedly filed a lawsuit against social media activist Verydarkman (VDM), demanding N1 billion in damages.
The suit also calls for a public apology from VDM, following the release of an audio clip that Bobrisky claims is an "Artificial Intelligence Generated audio recording."
The clip, which has sparked controversy, was allegedly used by VDM to tarnish Bobrisky's image, prompting the crossdresser to seek legal action.
Bobrisky asserts that the audio is fake and designed to mislead the public. The case has stirred conversations around the use of AI in defamation cases.
