Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has alleged that fellow musicians Wizkid and Davido are leveraging their ongoing feud to remain relevant in the music industry.
According to Portable, the duo’s music has lost market appeal, prompting them to resort to controversy for promotional purposes. He urged them to focus on their craft rather than exploiting their rivalry for attention.
Portable took to his Instagram story to express his sentiments, stating, “Don’t use your brother to shine, shine yourself. Your songs are no longer marketable, so you’re using fights for promotion.”
He emphasized his neutrality in the dispute, affirming, “I’m not with Davido, I’m not with Wizkid. I’m for myself, and those who support me.”
This development comes amidst Wizkid’s relentless criticism of Davido, labeling him “wack” and “talentless” despite Davido’s silence on the matter.
