The Lagos Police Command has detained two individuals, Alimi Abdulrazak, 18, and Eniola Shamsudeen, 18, for alleged cultism.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command spokesperson, confirmed the arrest to journalists on Monday.
According to Mr Hundeyin, the suspects, both residents of Oniwaya in the Agege district of the state, were captured about 1:50 p.m. Sunday.
“The anti-crime patrol team of Elere Division, stationed at Agbotikuyo in Ipaja Road, intercepted the suspects with a back bag,” he said.
The backpack was checked, according to the image maker, and two axes and two empty bottles were discovered inside.
He stated that the probe is still ongoing.
