
A Nigerian man is speaking out after his newly purchased vehicle, worth ₦27 million, was reportedly damaged by police officers less than a day after acquisition. The incident, which has sparked outrage on social media, was captured in a viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter).
In the footage, the visibly frustrated man showcases the severe damage to his car, pointing out that it had been in perfect condition just hours before. He also recorded the police officers allegedly responsible for the incident, with a crowd witnessing the unsettling scene. The video also showed a man in a hospital bed and a woman, who are believed to be victims of the altercation.
“This is what they did to my car, which I bought yesterday for ₦27 million. I haven’t done anything wrong to them,” the man can be heard lamenting in the emotional video.
As the video spread across online platforms, concerned Nigerians flooded the comment sections, sharing their opinions and expressing anger over the actions of the officers.
