FORMER Green Eagles captain, Chief Segun Odegbami (MON), has said that it is too early for the Super Eagles head coach, Samson Siasia to see himself as an achiever. Siasia has won all the three matches played so far scoring seven goals in all, but Odegbami believed that the Super Eagles played against weak teams on the continent.
"In as much as I want to commend him for showing seriousness in his job, he needs to play more friendlies with top football rated countries so that he will be able to know the strength of our team and at the same time, have a solid team for the country in place. But for now, he should not see himself a successfull coach with just three matches,'' the 1980 Nations Cup gold medallist told Tribunesports.
The Shooting Stars legend noted that the Super Eagles still have a long way to go adding, "it requires a lot from the coach and the players and I am optimistic that with proper planning and commitment, the country will get there''.
