poster- do u need ppl to spell it out for u? If you are not happy with anything about your life, end it (apart from family cuz yu r stuck with them). Pls leave the job before it frustrates the hell out of you. Alternatively, yu can report the manager to the director, although that might lead to more problem. If ppl keep disappearing less than a year later, surely the director must be concerned right? Also, did I hear yu right about risking yur life for work? Purlease no job is worth it my dear. From what yu sed u are working like yu have no choice, if yur manager knows that he/ she will treat yu like that. Even if you have no other choice, please dont act like it or yu wont be respected. Working late my contracted hours are 9-5 everyday. I have stayed at work until 10pm/ 11pm before, especially when we were busy. That is an extreme case, but I will be happy to do it again (not everyday though). Why? cuz my manager is appreaciative of it and sumtimes gives me a bonus and I love the challenge to starting a project/ task and seeing it thru completeion. please i am begging you in the name of god,leave that job now or else?and my advice is for you to seek for another job,though job is not easy to come by but believe that leave my job is not the end of the world.if ishould share my experience as a qualified accountant,i was working in a firm in victoria island ,wre i was collecting 45000 as a monthly pay but my job was so enormous that i have to combine 4 man job together and my MD is more harsh compare to your boss.i kept falling sick,god revaeled to me that i should leave the job,around august 2010 i was hospitalised and from there ,they brought sack letter to me on the sick bed,i am married ,with a kid but should i do?which i don't know,i was discharge from the hospital and i cannot afford to pay the bills,i have dependants,my mum and 3brothers in university and a kid sister.i hussle for job but thank god today i am very proud to be an accountant of a big oil company in nigeria,my salary now is 145% of my former pay.please believe in god and try to hussle you are still at ur teenage jet.takia | Posted: at 12-05-2011 03:29 PM (13 years ago) | Newbie | |
