...the truth should never be suppressed.
Is he being denied a visa bcos he said the truth?

We all know what the Boko Haram terrorist group has done.
so, what's strange in linking them to the Taliban or Al Qaeda?

Instead of cleaning-up our system, we are busy sweeping
facts under the carpet.

 >:(The truth is bitter but it must be told. Some Nigeriians are funny. They want to deny him visa under the pretext that "he does not meet the requirements." Indeed, just because he told the truth about these lying, devious, and greedy "big men" sitting their lazy behinds on Nigeria's money. No matter what they do, no one is being fooled but themselves. Is it not the same thing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in '09 when she came for a visit? They should also deny her visa. MSCHEWW

It's on record that the Nigerian senate has shamelessly refused
to pass the freedom of information bill (FOB) into law.

Sad to know that their madness has gone international!

The consciences of our leaders have been sacrificed on the alter
of greed and political aggrandisement. If not, no reasonable person
will deny a diplomat visa for saying the truth.

Ex-presidents in saner societies are busy travelling the world delivering
speeches, seminars, and diplomatic mediation.
In Nigeria, our ex-presidents are still seeking local political relevance
with the sole aim of covering up the atrocities they committed while in
office.

I'm still proud of my country, though.

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) – Nigeria says it has denied a visa to a former U.S. ambassador who has raised concerns over the stability of Africa's most populous nation.
A spokesman for the Nigeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs told The Associated Press Wednesday that the West African's nation mission in Washington, D.C. refused former ambassador John Campbell a visa to Nigeria.
Damien Agu said Campbell "did not meet the visa requirements."
Campbell, a former envoy to Nigeria is now a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.
His book titled "Nigeria: Dancing on the Brink" is critical of the country's political class and his articles have raised concerns that members of a radical Muslim sect active in Nigeria's northeast could form ties with al-Qaida.

THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A NEWS.
WHY BROADCASTING IT?
THE WRITE UP SAID HE DIDN'T MEET UP WITH THE VISA REQUIREMENTS SIMPLE.
MIND YOU ANYONE COULD BE DENIED OF GETTING A VISA OF ANY COUNTRY, ANYTIME ANYDAY. OR DOES AMERICANS HAVE TWO HEADS? RUBISH Angry

well i think  nigeria has every right to deny visa to any caliber of person no matter his or her class
the embassy has measures n requirement that one need to provide
n again, the book he wrote  about nigeria is a very critical one n may be a wrong time for him to come to nigeria
