But gift is diff from gift. maybe the guy gives her money to cook, take her shopping, fuel her car etc as opposed to giving her an allowance. and even if he gives her allowance is she supposed to say "hun i need money food transport rent an tithe?"

Equally confused here, how can a church know who has paid tithe or not, besides its between God and the payer. If that's true, F**K the place, cos its not a church.
