Sometimes i wonder what the future holds for a child whose parents are not together. My case is typical of this phenomena. My daughter was one year and 2 months old when her mother ran away with her. All efforts to locate them proved abortive. Everyday, the question that remained in my mind is.. how is she doing without me.

I feel for you my good man. When parents disagree, and split as a result,
the children usually suffer. If it is any  consolation, there are so many kids
who made it in life out of abroken home.

I hope, That one day with the grace of God she will back to you with your doughter. Then You will be the happiest man in the world to see your Princess again. Just pray for them everyday and ask God for help. I wish you the best..

speaking 4rm personal xperience,d worst i think can happen to a child is comin frm a divorce home. It comes wt a vry big challenge n alwys vry difficult for d single parent n d child.   Som of d children grow up to b unruly while som r gud in behaviour.  It create a devastatin impact dat stays til adulthood.

This is a very sensitive matter. It all depends though on what kind of parent the child has. If for some reason, the child end up with only one parent taking care of him/her, and that parent is responsible enough to cater to the child's needs, then why not? The child will surely do fine. However, the child will surely ask after the missing parent someday. But mother and father figures are important for the pychological dev. of a child. Each parent provides something the child can make use of while growing. Then on the other hand again...in some cases, some learn to do without. Btw..sorry bout your situation; it's quite sad. Hope you find your daughter...
