The 53-year-old led the Americans to the 2009 Confederation Cup final after defeating Egypt 3-0 in the group stage. Last year, he led the USA to the final 16 of the World Cup in South Africa.
However, Ron Waxman, Bradley's agent, later tweeted "Reports Bob Bradley signed to be Egypt's new manager are premature, and he did not say any of the quotes being attributed to him on FIFA.com," indicating a deal may not be completed just yet despite the announcement from the Egyptian FA.
