Borno State Speaker Impeached

    The Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Hon. Goni Ali Modu has been impeached for being too subservient to the Executive arm and not being accessible to other members of the House.

The motion for his impeachment was made by Hon ayemu Lawal Gwosha representing Damboa.

In his place the House elected Hon Abdulkareem Adam Lawan representing Guzamala.
