Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara will not play again this season, with the duo leaving Liverpool as free agents in the summer transfer window. Diogo Jota misses out with a muscle injury, with his campaign coming to a premature halt.
Liverpool will shape up in a 4-3-3 formation against Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Alisson Becker in goal. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will start as the full-backs, and they will look to help out in the attack and provide defensive cover to the side. Ibrahima Konate will start alongside Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the defence.

Nelson Semedo and Matt Doherty will start as the full-backs. They will look to contribute at both ends of the pitch here. Max Kilman will form the central defensive partnership alongside Toti Gomes.
Boubacar Traore will start as the defensive midfielder, and he will look to protect the back four and break up opposition attacks. Hwang Hee-chan and Rayan Ait-Nouri will start in the wide areas. They will look to help out with their pace and flair.
Meanwhile, Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes will start as the attacking midfielders here. They will look to add creativity and control to the side. Finally, Matheus Cunha will lead the line for Wolves against Liverpool.
