In a rather more dramatic encounter and fascinating to the ear but a true story, a young man, Mr. Lawrence Ette, has been accused of stoning his 23-year-old girlfriend, Miss Rosaline Christopher, to death on Sunday at 13, Academy Street, Calabar, Cross River State. .

A witness, whom is the landlord of the late, Miss Dorothy Bassey, said Rosaline had a fight with her boyfriend, before he supposedly killed her.

In her statement she said because of the relationship between the lovers in recent time, Rosaline’s mother clogged Ette from visiting her daughter.

“But even with the instruction from the old woman, Ette kept sneaking in to see the girl particularly at night,” she added.

But It was latter learnt that during one of such visits on Sunday, there was confusion between the lovers, which prompted the girl to ask Ette to leave.
