i am a christian and i dont recount or remember reading it antwhere in the bible.
but the problem i observe is that some of the signs and symbols mostly use by tattoo artist
have questionable origin.
some are signs and symbols used by cultist and spiritualist in the olden days and even now

Peace be unto you all, The Bible speak against tattoo irrespective of your view God is no respecter of any man in the book of Leviticus 19:28 and like someone contributed because of the initiation that is involved and you know ignorance is not acceptable in the law be warned. Cheers!

I think tatoos r sign of secret society and seen as something dangerious and unresponsible in nigeria cause the use of evil spirits in secret r common in nigeria and other black african countries well. While worldwide a simple tatoo is just a question of taste and fashion.

If we r saying, that according to the bible we should not design our bodies with any tattoo, then we should also not been allowed to use make ups, earrings, false hairs and finger nails etc too.

My daughter has a star tatoo on her foot, she also has a musical note with angel wings on her hip and they look nice.
God loves my daughter and so do I.
Because in the New Testament the Word of God says, "To the pure everything is pure....." (Titus1:15a) Meaning if done with innocent intent and not evil purposes.....
So what harm can a tatoo do?
It personal choice....God looks at the heart of man......
Whats tatooed/written on the tablet of our hearts?

Yes, you all have made excellent points. But, I'll just like to point something out.

I love tattoos, But the question is do we really know the origin and what it symbolises? Or are we just following the bandwagon in the name of so called fashion.

The bible says "obedience is better than sacrifice"
